About Us

Architectural Support Group, LLC d/b/a ASG, is an architectural firm that, in addition to more traditionally delivered services for architectural and interior design projects, specializes in building condition assessments, construction consulting, third party quality control and quality assurance programs, forensic architectural investigations of building failures, and common sense designs for repairing building problems.

A large segment of our work is with assisting condominiums and homeowners Associations through various capital repair projects and provide detailed summary of the community's financial health by performing a Reserve Study analysis. We also specialize in more traditional practice of design, bid, build for a wide range of residential and commercial projects. These include residential home additions, commercial buildings, commercial interior tenant fit-out, restaurant design, and more.

The firms managing principal and owner, Michael Daly, studied design at the University of Cincinnati where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design in 2002. Michael is a licensed architect in the states of Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, and the District of Columbia. Michael is also NCIDQ and LEED BD + C certified. Michael's experience covers a wide range of base building architectural and interior design projects. He has been involved in projects ranging from 300 square foot residential additions to 2.2 million square foot master plans. Michael has experience in all phases of design and development in residential and commercial architecture and interior design. Michael is a member of the American Institute of Architects and serves the AIA nationally on their Strategic Council. He also represents the State of Maryland, NCARB, and the AIA as the state licensing advisor helping assist young practitioners and students navigate the licensure process. Michael is a governor appointed member of the State of Maryland Board of Certified Interior Designers and the Maryland Green Building Coucil. Additionally, Michael serves on a CIDQ committee focusing on model law development for the interior design profession. Michael is a qualified architectural expert and has been recognized as such by a jurisdiction in Maryland.
