SUMMARY:Lego Building Challenge
DESCRIPTION:Toy Castle\, located at Cabin John Mall\, will hold their 27th Lego Building Challenge on Saturday\, March 12\, 2016 from noon to 1pm. Participants are asked to pre-register with Toy Castle by the afternoon prior\; Friday\, March 11 and be set up by 11:30am the day of the event. \n\n\n\nThe annual event challenges kids to design\, create and build with Legos!  Entrants are then given the opportunity to judge their peers' creations and vote in three categories: My Favorite\; Most Creative Use of Lego\; and Most Imaginative.  \n\n\n\nEach Lego builder will receive a certificate of participation and a small Lego figurine as a thank you for taking part. One winner in each of the three categories will be awarded a $25 Toy Castle Gift Certificate in the mall atrium at the end of the event.\n\n\n\nAccording to Brian Mack\, owner of Toy Castle "This is one of our best attended events.  Lego spans so many generations and offers kids with all different interests a chance to craft and create!"  He added that "the competition often involves teams of sibling and friends working in collaboration."\n\n\n\nToy Castle in Potomac began as Toys\, Etc. in 1979 with Brian Mack at the helm.  He began a business partnership with Carlos Aulestia in 2010 and the two opened a sister store\, Toy Kingdom in Rockville.
